Anyone who thinks agar won't pick dowes and radford every game and that he won't play fitz at 13 is kidding themselves. We have far too many back rowers and should have made an effort to move tickle on. My preferred option would be fitz and manu starting in the 2nd row with lauaki coming off the bench with washy at loose forward. agar won't go with that though. washy will be a bit part player

I don't think many are kidding themselves. Most on here have gone with there preferred pack.

Fitz will play at 13 and Radford back in the second row are the two dead certs for the backrow, we seem to have plenty of options for the other positions and if used correctly the bench could have a massive impact.

Having Manu and Hame in the backrow at the same time could be awesome although I think Agar will go with Radofrd, Tickle and Fitz with Manu off the bench.

I agree. From what we've seen of Agar's selection so far Washy will only play when Horne or Long are unavailable (criminal when he should be given a season at LF) to accomodate Radford. Now that Moa's signed, hopefully Lauaki will be picked as 2nd row interchange, but this is Agar's world of selection lunacy we're talking.

i think people on here dont realy understand how much agar rates washy,believe me he will not be used as a back up player.

In what position? Look at how poor we were last season and Agar felt there was no need to change the way we played, one example of this was keeping Radford at 13, I just cant see him playing a player who is such a differnt type of player in Washbrook there, possibly 6 is an option.

13,washy was injured for most of the season and when he came back he was needed elsewere cos of injuries,he is a great player and in the games he played when he returned that proved just how much we missed him,didnt he get mom in both games?as for radford ask agar his views at the forum and if he will be used at 13 again im sure he will answer ye,will be interesting who actualy expresses there problems to him face to face and not on here,if i have anything to say i say it to his face.

I'm not sure about Agar's coaching ability after the last two seasons but we all know the score for next season and so does he. I hope that he proves to be a fantastic coach with "his team" and it will all sort itself out after 7 or 8 games in.

Washbrook was selected on the bench for the first two games last season with Radford at loose man and when he returned from injury in the Salford cup game it was the same.

Agar has his perfect chance next season to prove his worth and I wish him luck. If his recruitment and retention is anything to go by, he will be a great success but, if not, he won't see the second half of the season.

Seems like there are too many people who actually want him to fail !!



BTW I'm not his biggest fan either.

Been supporting them for over 30 years. just because I don't like what's going on at the minute doesn't mean i don't love the club, just means I have an opinion which differs from the sheep. Too many on here who have short memories

You have seen the best recruitment for a number of years at our club and a real sense of moving in the right direction and yet you still constantly moan.



I have moaned a lot over the last three or four seasons but this season there just isn't that much to moan about.

I moan because we have a chief exec who has proven he isn't up to the job and a head coach who has been an abject failure. agar had a better squad than 12th place last season and should have done much better. He at least should have had the players putting some effort in every week and showed some tactical knowledge but he didn't and I doubt very much we'll ever see it from him
