Yes Sam and jack both went to Hymers who were both picked on the scholarship link between rovers and Hymers that has been going for a good number of years now.
Sam was the 1st team captain and played fly half and jack played wing.


Hymers has 3 terms per year so my maths makes that £18000 not £24k.

Think one of the Latus lads are running sprint coaching at YPI now heard it is really good.

I think it's both of them who do the training at YPI. I don't think it's just sprint training, I believe it's also powerlifting such as clean & jerks etc. Fwiw I've heard it's very good and know a number of people who train there.

I don't think anyone is under the illusion we're signing an established superstar but like you I was quite impressed with him during the WC and I think he could do a job especially if its for the right money.

If I were going for a prop/lock from the NSW cup I'd go for Samoan Mark Taufua.
Mark was one of the best forward in the winning NSW cup side Cronulla and played a few games of firstgrade in the very strong Cronulla pack last year. He is a bit older, but he hasn't had many injuries and played park Union in Newcastle till his mid 20s, so hasn't got many miles on the clock for a 29 year old or so.
He has about 100 NRL games I think and no contract for next year. Eloni was an average player for the team that came last in the NSW cup - Mark was outstanding for the team that came first.

He's 32 and retired. Our coaches/owner wanted to take a look at RLWC players I think thats the only reason Eloni has been mentioned in the press but the club seems to be distancing themselves at moment so who knows.

'retired' means he can't get a contract. He will play for Newcastle Wests next season if he can't get a shot anywhere else.

Haha my missus works at a primary school... just asked her about how many terms there is in a school year she said 3.. i then asked well your always having a week off & then upon return its a new term she said i never listen!!!

6k a term, a term is about 8/10 weeks, so that's £600 a week ish (and they were on Scolarship anyway), £600 a week is what the majority of families will be paying for 2 kids in Nursery (well, it is around here in Worcester anyway)

A term from 12-16 weeks, most private schools will cost about 25K at year at least, once all the extras have been added on.

Two kids in a nursery in Hull will cost about a grand a month.

Well whatever amount of terms there is she always seems to be off work on holiday or teacher training days 13 weeks holidays & 27.5-30hours per week!!! pfffttt. lol

Yup, it is around me, cheapest is £180/child (and it's rubbish, apparently, not that I'd know, as I don't have kids)

I pay £4 an hour in West Oxfordshire...
So for 2 full time that would be £1126.67 (260 a week) per month..

Fortunately my 1 is now 4 so gets funding for most of it...

If you know a teacher who works 30 hours a week, then they cant be doing a proper job, I easily work 50 hours a week (Minimum), most of my colleagues work a lot more hours than me, Holidays are great though, but needed.
