Can't believe some on here because we have signed 1 player . I'm not going again , I'm not renewing my pass etc . I bet Pearson is really glad he's bought hull and pumped most his money into it listening to some on here . Since Ellis went all people have said is he's rubbish , never make it etc . So we sign mcgoldrick who ok isn't brilliant but twice the player Ellis is and still moan .

Give the guy a chance, i dont think he's that bad tbh and certainly one of the better Cas players and we are low on numbers all over the field. He's got a bit of aggression to him and riles opp players up and we havent got any of that on the field atm.

am appalled by this signing, like many have said he is a thug! not even a decent player either, very dissapointing if he remains with us after this season and hardly backs up claims made by pearson last weekend!

Why McGoldrick? I don't get it.

He's a 31-year old never-has-been journeyman who even Cas didn't want beyond the end of the season. Plus he's a vile thug. This would without doubt be our worst signing for years and is a huge backward step. If confirmed, of course.

You can't have seen him play much in the last few years Seb, he IMO is one of Cas's worst players, go onto their site and see some of the comments, most are glad he has gone.

Ludicrous over-reaction. Like our Cas friend says, he gives 110% and is hugely experienced. Far from ideal, but one player in a squad of 30.

I think I'll wait till its confirmed & know the details of the deal (how long), what role he'll play for the team (could just be cover, god knows we need it) & more importantly how he performs before I get all menstrual about it like most on here.

Don't understand the journeyman comments though, only played for Cronulla in NRL and Cas in SL.

I can't get the image of Mcgoldrick trying to chase Briscoe down the touchline at Cas a year ago, his head almost exploided it was that red/purple. What a pointless signing.

Journeyman means a level of mediocre competence, not just someone who moves from place to place.

Cas are the worst team in the league and their fans think all their Christmas' have come at once because he has left. During last season they were debating which of the Cas board members he had incriminating photos of, and he's only gone down hill since.

And its not just one player, its the fact we have lapped up all these stories about these amazing signings we are going to make and end up with garbage like this.

I hope he proves me wrong and turns out to be a star, but I also hope I win the lottery on Friday, and I think my numbers have a better chance than him being a good signing.
