Karl Turner is a Hull fan a deluded and not particularly popular one I'll grant you but a Hull fan!

It would make sense if we could afford it then we could be much more flexible in pricing/offers etc, have more match day and non match day income and also not have to worry about idiots getting their hands on the KC

the clue is in his title....[uEast Hull MP [/uKarl Turner. Of course he will, while on official duty, represent those within his constituency. Doesn't mean to say he isn't a Hull fan.

Back to the KC and Allam stuff - can't see the council just giving him the stadium, they will want some money out of any deal seeing as they have a multi million pind asset sat there making them money (i assume from various events).

That then begs the question has Allam any money available (talking millions) to purchase the stadium? In addition with regards Hull tenancy / lease whatever we want to call it, there will be certain assurances in place to protect the club, you can't conveniently forget about the legalities of such an agreement, regardless of if he buys the KC or not.

I just hope Plummer and his 'magic' pen wasn't around at the time we signed contracts!!!!

I imagine there will be appropriate covenants in place to protect both City and FC but ultimately these are determined by the council so presumably they could draw up less favourable covenants if they are being paid a fortune to do so in a sale of the KC. Since Mr Allam has already paid money to Rovers to enhance the value of the council's asset (the freehold of Craven Park) of course this would in no way be a factor in their decision.

That's the problem though, because the council handed over the running of the KC to SMC they don't actually get anything back of note. For the last 8 years the figure was less than £10K I seem to recollect. One would presume most of the not inconsequential profit went into the SMC shareholder & owners pocket.
Any actual profit that was due to the council is obviously peppercorn comparativ to the turnover. Why that is I couldn't even begin to imagine, absolutely crazy!

i honestly thought he was rovers, he stated at our annual company meeting that he couldnt care less about west hull which didnt go down well with about half of the audience who reside in west hull. because our company is in bandit country he wrongly assumed we were all from round there.
