the fact that he travelled to France and played a full-on "friendly" suggests that the deal is off. If we were that close to signing, he would have been pulled out of that trip. |

i dnt see how a club as big as fc struggles so much to attract a decent halfback that isnt injury prone or is a has been in the nrl surely they have the money so i dont see why we struggle so much

But we have one of the best in the business already who was simply unlucky with injuries last year so surely we do dont we?? |

yeah but he is coming to the end of his career in my opinion we need to attract a decent young hb partnership that would hopefully be injury free so they can play together on a regular basis and get an understanding of each other like sean long and richard horne as individuals and in form are really good but they dont play together enough to have that understanding of what one or the other is going to do

Sammut was also thanking Crusaders fans for their comments and telling them to expect to see much more this season. This was yesterday.
Then again about a month ago he also said to someone in Aussie that he hopes to be back there in 2012.

You seem to think we are not going to do any better whilst Agar is in charge, because we play boring football, our recruitment is crap and our board don't do it's job. So are you actually saying you expect us to improve this season now ? if you are what's with the negativity. Bearing in mind that another two or three wins should get us top 3. For all the points we've disagreed about, I find it strange you now believe we're going to be a top 4 club  |
