pretty sure he is still going out with the girl he met whilst in Hull?
Could play a part in his chosen destination. Plus he really he really enjoyed his time here in 2005.
As I said earlier though, think he has been overhyped by the media for a few reasons:

Must admit I can't personally recall any specific skills that LMS has other than he appears pretty quick for a prop. However what indicates to me that he's maybe got something in his locker is the fact that St's and Wigan are chasing him.
