Impressed with the defence apart from the galea error (which happens). Attack wise apart from the try not so good, but leeds have restricted us and (still not impressed with Seymour).

Aaron made a massive difference when he came on.

If we continue that defence in the second half and do more with the ball we can win this.

Really liking the look of Shannon with ball in hand. Looks a real handful who will break plenty of tackles a make some good metres.

God knows how we are level. pretty decent defence, though we are letting them play the ball too fast and offload too much, helped when Peacock went off.

We need to improve our kicking, speed of acting half (again improved when Heremia came on) and tighten up our defence if we are to win this one.

Aye defence standing up but under pressure. Embarrassing effort by Ben Galea but we're digging in. Kicking not brilliant but at least there is some decent length on the kicks which we need to get out of our half. We need to be much sharper and slicker with the ball but we're up against a very skinny 10 and it's not easy.

The knock on aspect, yes, I suppose. But it was really poor to let it squirm away from him IMO. Should have been able to smother it even if not with a clean gather.

Whats your view on Seymour?

Seymour has looked very nervous and made handling mistakes. He's also been one of our best defenders.

Looking back at the burrow tackle as an example and a few more I see what you mean, I was judging him based on the display with ball in hand, ignorant of me to dismiss his defensive qualities in this game.

He settled towards the end of the half though so I agree it may be just nerves.

Let's see what he can do in the second half.

Shouldn't have thrown the forward pass (same can be said of Houghton), first drop was poor, 2nd was a hospital pass from Lynch. A couple of cheap penalties, one excellent tackle to get us right out of trouble. Not been as good as we need him to be so far, but not terrible. Looks like a man desperately nervous and in need of confidence.

Arundel has looked very shaky in defence.

We seem nervous in attack, forcing it when we don't need to, few drives get in position, try a play and if you don't get over get a good kick in to try and get the ball back or at the very least keep leeds pinned down and control field position.

We need to settle down in attack! Control the ball.
