Got to say though Ian, Thormans performance last night silenced me, now that as you know is one hell of an achievement..Dire..

at the moment we are the newcastle united of rugby league.......our team was once feared at the top and now we are a laughing stock and a shambles on the pitch....bad recruitment, bad management on all levels have contributed to this mess and thats just the start ....and it doesnt look like its going to get sorted anytime soon......i for one will not be renewing my pass next season, it is quite simply a waste of my time,effort and cash to watch complete idiocy at board room level and complete rubbish on the pitch....
i feel sorry for the toon army who have watched there team through thick and thin just like us....but it makes me wonder if anyone feels sorry for the faithful...i doubt it....as our board have brought this on thererselves...
the leeds southstanders were taking the p**s last nite as we all heard towards the end which said it all, it is embarrassing at times and deeply hurtful that our club seems destined for oblivion....

Yes we were dire last night and yes the Southstand took the p**s out of us, nearly as much as we did ourselves.

The inane chanting of sack the board from so called intelligent people, ermmm there is no one who could sack the board and it would just serve you right at the moment if they all walked, because if they do we are most certainly doomed because no one with any sense or money would put it into a rugby league club at this moment in time. So it will be bye bye Hull FC.

As for the thug last night continually arguing with anyone who he could and being very verbally abusive at the same time, i.e the C word raised its head far too many times for my liking especially with the amount of kids around we don't need to hear that for 80 mins from anyone.

I am not sat here thinking everything in the garden is rosy but like to think I have a little more dignity and will continue to follow the team in any kind of weather and never boo my team of the pitch.

Craig Hall will probably never play for the first team again because of what fans have done to his confidence.

Well said. People on here demanding that the board should be sacked are just showing themselves up as idoits. On paper, any outsider would have predcited that scoreline last night. We have to accept that we can't work miracles with the injuries we have/had and players never arriving. As far as I am concerned any wins we do get are a bonus. It's no excuse - it's a fact. No one could have predicted we'd have a repeat of last year, but we have. I'm gutted, but blaming other people and being abusive just shows a lack of emotional intellegence.

With the advent of the salary cap it makes it more important than ever that we employ top grade coaches. We simply don't measure up in that department.
