Sorry but you're wrong, cocaine has been found to relieve symptoms of fatigue & improvement of reaction time within a 2 hour window. If it were taken pre match then clearly performance enhancing  Yes the overall effect would be detrimental but the immediate effects are clear from a medical/physiological POV.
So yes Hock was a drug cheat, whether that was his intention or not to improve his performance.

Looks like we where is for Hock and maybe even close to signing him.
Spending big on a backrow foward is not our priority IMO, although would have been happy with him signing.
I wouldn't have wanted him on a 5 year deal, massive risk for Wigan, in fact I wouldn't sign any players on that lenght of contract.
Hopefully we will here some news on recruitment internal and external very soon.

Well Freddie L Wigan stuck by Gaz Hock and he's come thru it, unlike Tez Newton when the RFL did nothing and look what happened to him, also Hull offered Hock more money than Wigan!! strange isn't it when you already have signed 3 players during the super league season you must have a bigger cap than the rest of us!!

I can't see that to be honest, if he doesn't come back to Castleford, then every other side in the league will be going in for him and (with all due respect) with equal money offered, would he go to Hull or Leeds/Wigan/Wire/Saints etc.
I can't see him coming back anyway tbf, seems to be performing well over there and is a key player in the Wests team. |
