I heard today the away shirt it just the opposite to the home shirt.. Laughed at the bloke but thought wud put on here

Just been in the shop to take a look at the new shirt and to be honest I thought the quality was awful. The V didn't match up on the body and arms on some shirts but did on others, the badges look poor too. The new rain coat was good so bought one of those instead. The hoodie was also a good design so got one for my lad who also didn't like the shirt.

I looked at the shirt yesterday and agree the quality is awful. As has been said the V doesn't line up on most shirts, the cheap/after thought badges just like they have been stitched on anywhere on some of them, some are so far of of the V its laughable!! As others have said I will wait for the away shirt, won't be buying the home, and if that is of similar quality I will buy one of the training tops which are very nice. £46/47 for a shirt of this quality is very highly priced.

Not very keen on the new shirt.Our range for a few years has been average.The only stuff worth buying is the training range. Our marketing team need to up their game.
Also the shop in Savile St looks like a jumble sale with a very limited stock.
Sorry to say but the HKR shop next door puts it to shame on initial walk up.

To be fare I dont mind the look of the shirt, the badges specially the Hull city collage one looks crap and out of place. I asked about the away shirt and the shop staff said they have no idea what it looks like and wont be on sale til after christmas as its a new thing they are trying this year. Well am thinking they have dropped a right bollock as am sure a lot of people get both shirts for christmas. Can only think they are doing it as the feedback from the home shirt is so poor they feel the wont get many sales so by delaying the away shirts they will get more sales for christmas

I don't mind the home shirt, but it's pretty similar to a couple of years ago, so hopefully the away one is a bit different.

Anyone who makes a conscious decision to miss Christmas with an RL kit is pretty dumb

We did that a couple of years ago, IIRC we released the away shirt the week before the first away game. The rationale was for a second spree on shirt sales but it hasn;t been repeated since so I assume it didn't work out as hoped.

Depends if you need cash flow to stop another CCJ

I just had to post having had such a good laugh at something I read just now on the Club site and I have to commend the Clubs retail team for their entrepeneurial spirit when I read that NRL shirts are to be slashed to half price for one day only tomorrow and only in the Saville Street store. Our Club must be mad I mean the street will be full of umberella bearing Dobbins tomorrow for their shirt launch, surely they will be buying their NRL shirts from their own Clubs shop....

I'll not be making a special trip. Just checked the weather forecast for tomorrow evening - pouring with icy rain, feeling like minus 2. I'm sure spirits won't be dampened though what with another Brisbane Broncos forward coming in to replace Clinton and their big investment now finalised.

I hope that whoever signed off the home shirt, was unconcious at the time, its the only excuse.

THey probably realise though that loads of dumb lumpy jumpers will just buy them for their other halves, sons etc for christmas. Despite my vocal displeasure of the shirt, I still won't be surprised if one ends up under the tree for me!
