After the pre-season Whiting has had, and with Calderwood missing, he (Whiting) must start in the centre. If not, I really don't know what the guy has to do.

Agree with Avogadro, Whiting impressed in the friendlies and was pushing for a place. Now that Calders is out he must get a start. Hall to miss out with Turner partnering Whiting.

Expecting him to start with a 3rd prop at loose man. Fitz n tickle starting in the 2nd row. With both of them able to kick for goal either can be spelled.

Anybody thought that we could be using Radford in the 2nd row and Lauaki as the other prop? For example :-

seriously though didn't g horne score a near length of the field try against them when playing on the wing last season. So pace isn't the be all and end all against saints.

And which wing would you put briscoe on ? if hall was on the wing could he be playing left allowing for him and yeaman to alternate during the game. what an attacking side that would be!

i think it's best to leave briscoe on the left so he can work on the combinations with long, manu and yeaman in attack and deffence as hopefully they'll be playing together most of the year. looks a potent left side if it fires!

That would make the decision to leave Moa out even more baffling. I'd say Lauaki has been our least impressive forward in the pre-season. To play him out of position whilst Moa sits it out would be a little odd.

Think hall will be on the wing tbh,also reckon whiting will start.
