Good to hear him talk of spreading the cost of passes across 12 months the 5 month plan helped this year but to spread the cost of 3 passes across the year could be the deciding factor for me when it comes to renewing passes in the future.

Top Bloke thank goodness he's around, he a bit 'No Nonsense' and a real sports entrepeneur and you get the impression that he won't settle for anything but success on the field! We just have to show our faith by selling some season tickets!

Probably a chunk of repaying HMRC in there in addition to investment in facilities etc so is to be expected

I have every faith in Pearson, and he is a great 'spokesman' for the club...but the pressure is on to improve our crowds over the next 3 years. If we are still losing 500K a year in 3 years time he will start to re-consider his investment.

I appreciate that times are hard and some people are simply 'priced out' of attending rugby at the moment, but there has to be a big effort to get the fans we've lost over the last few years back. I know not all passholders would agree, but I'd like to see more ticket promotions for games, we have a massive ground the fill so why no promote more cheap tickets.

He comes across as a level headed fella. The 10000 target for season tickets is what he's aiming for perhaps to show him the level of support going forward because of the signings he's made and to make inroads into bringing down the debt. Allways thought the figure was ambitious but you have to speculate as they say.

Maybe I was unclear. Every business in a year finds a cost not accounted for. You can plan till the cows come home but there is allways a variable.

You can't just give away shed loads of cheap/frebie tickets.

What does that say to us passholders who have shelled out ?

People need encouraging to buy passes - financial modelling much easier when 90% of gate receipts gathered before season starts.

Can'ty believe Rovers prices, it is interesting that pass holders renewing get a further discount - seems a good way to ensure repeat custom.

10000 is an optimistic target, but its good to have a goal. Even saw Clarky distrubuting season pass flyers at top of Walton street.

Also people have got to think. Pearson never said everything (ATT,Players,Success) All in one off season. Did he state that we would be in a transitional period for upto 2 years??

He didn't say anything about success in year 1, but our crowds this year were still disappointing. We only lost once at home (with an injury hit side to Wigan who finished top) yet the crowds hovered around 10/11K most weeks.

Though to be honest the weather didn't help: the club moved games to Sunday afternoons, and then we had snow, sleat, hail and frost for a good half of the season. I hope we get a more 'balanced' fixture list next year, as we seemed to play most of the attractive home games before June this year.

Does 'one off costs' include paying off unwanted players who are still under contract?

TBF I don't think the current economic climate has helped much as people having less secondary spending are going to be tighter on the purse strings. Plus many want to see the changes happening now before they shell out this time after years of broken promises from the previous regime.

Our sales rep saw him on Sunday in Cottingham and still had his club tie on!!!
