Miller is going to be a big player for us.
Not so much this year, but with a full pre season behind him, I can only see good things.
Getting to a semi can only benefit FC's finances and profile.
Also, I think Internet coverage over east hull has dropped out, judging by the rovers fans I know on Facebook .

Id ship Crookes out as well.Briscoe is good yes but not the player people make him out to be.

Who do we replace him with? we'll be hard pressed to get his equal let alone better.

Well, another shambles with ball in hand, but astounding defensive intensity brought us home. Was absolutely mafting in the ground, even sat in the shade with a cold beer, can't underestimate the effort required to win that one. And without Horne and Holdsworth, a pretty special afternoon. Shame we can't dine out on it a bit longer.

I'd have been more worried about our errors if Catalans hadn't been exactly the same. Obviously it was a struggle and I doth my cap to all of our players for that defensive effort in that heat.

Fantastic defensive effort in a dire game. Hats off to gentle who got his game plan completely right and backed our fitness levels to wear them down. Still not sure how we managed to win with such a weight of possession against us but some great performances out there today. Thought they were going to steamroller us early on when they were making huge metres with ball in hand and we were struggling with our go forward.

Just think we continue to make things hard for ourselves with dumb decision making.

Got to say it was a great win today. Catalan's looked out on there feet in last 10 but still looked dangerous.

Really?????????? they couldn't get out of their half in the first 20 min other than a kick and knock on from Mc D. The only time they was making yards was from the middle of the 2nd half. our Defence was outstanding.

As expected for a cup/top four game, we turned up with determination and resilience in spades. Just a shame the skill level and intelligence don't match up. I know the conditions were a big factor, but it's still the case that we're good in defence and poor in attack, and we need to fix this if we want to be any good.

Personally, I'm still going to be looking at next week as a bigger indicator as to whether things are improving.
