Even Michael Maguire said after last seasons Grand Final that alot of the ground work for Wigan's success was laid by the previous regime...I think Noble would be a good appointment but we need to get him in ASAP.

If our recruitment for 2012 is to be successful then we need the new man in place within the next month or so, I'd be far more confident of Noble tempting new players from Oz than Agar, Crusaders managed to bring over some decent quality while he was there so he must have good contacts.

I just can't see how the club would invest in signing Westerman (someone Agar had clearly been asking for) to then sack him a few games into the season.

Not sure if i'm happy about this tbh, even when/if Agar leaves the players will still have their differences. Or is it solely aimed at Agar?

That was the impression I got, told some interesting stuff about Berro, apparently he told Agar he was cr@p over a year ago! and got dropped for several game, which led to a very strained relationship apparently

You can imagine who Agar's backers are likely to be: Briscoe (understandably) and the likes of Dowes and Radford because of the wonderful contribution he has made to their retirement funds.

It seems Long isn't happy with him now but he's retiring, Fitz likewise (what must he think of Agar compared to some of the coaches he's worked with in his career). That leaves Moa and O'Meley as the two other most obvious candidates to have a problem with Agar.

I think Briscoe could easily be won over by another coach coming in.

I tend to pay little attention tbh, these sort of things always suddenly appear when there's supporter unrest.

I've said before a coach who brings players in to enforce discipline is always going to have a problem with splitting the "swots" and "blots". Discipline is the coaches job and not down to a couple of Aussie enforcers.

I'm sure it's 90% bull but if the story keeps growing it may just force the board to admit that they "would keep all options open and always speak to players and others that may potentially improve the club" or something similar. Cos surely as a professional operation they would be duty bound to check out Nobles availability just in case Agar should resign , be head hunted etc?????

Completely agree with what you're saying though, and a similar principle applies to getting Long in and expecting him to be in charge of all our attacking structure.

If only it was true, the team really do need a pick me up and I am sure a change of coach would do it.

For me "Get him off" Moa statement was the last straw.
