All these people having a pop at the club for only just signing phelps need to get a grip and realise that phelps was probably only just signed now due to the fact that the sammut deal is dead.

Still think we need at least 1 more signing maybe 2 . Next one in needs to be a hooker , hooker- half back . Wouldn't mind one of warring tons hookers maybe higham on loan . Long term injury to houghton and were facked .

I wondered about Higham, maybe worth a shot. Also Brad Drew for a season maybe?

Obst would be a good shout to play off the bench at 9 and can play 7 too.

Higham would be a good shout as Clarke will be their no1 nine, just depends what Smith's plans are for Monaghan, will he go for Briers/Mylers or Briers/Monaghan as his 6 and 7?

I got told obst last week by scot murrell at the city game that he was coming so who knows . Would give the squad a decent balance as he can cover scrum half as well .

I have always liked Obst for his tenacity and durability, for me he's worth a shot if there is no one else out there.

It may not be a popular opinion, but our youngsters are simply not as talented as the likes of Leeds, Wigan, Wire, Saints and even Bradford, we still have a few very good young players but look at the junior rep squads to back this up, that said I would like to see Williams at some point this year.

I'm a big fan of Obst and would be very happy if we signed him!!

still need 1 or 2 signings to balance the squad. a hopefully a half and then somebody that can cover the pivots or play right centre

Monaghan is Wire's no1 hooker, with Higham being spelled off the bench. I think that if all 3 are fit then Clarke will be used at LF with Harrison playing more at prop.

Jack Briscoe, Reece Lyne, Jordan Turner and Lee Williams could be getting a bit of game time this year then.

He'll have a great year this season, Canberra have got 4 very useful props.

Things moving quickly? We need a 7/9 still so Obst wouldn't be a bad signing nor would Micky Higham. Squad looks desperately short though.
