Unfortunately that is one aspect of Pickles's strategy. he's looking to "gift" publicly-owned assets to the employees, to be run as mutuals. That is until the employees take the profit and sell to commercial concerns |

The major factor in the whole argument is that pearson got sacked instantly by the allams for his underhanded actions,how many people in this day and age get sacked on the spot and dont appeal,very few.! So mr allam is looking to pay pearson back any way he can,while I do not agree with using the photos as a pawn in the argument,if FC owe money,unfotunately the allams are within their rights. Johnny whiteley is an all time great of our sport and his name shouldn't be dragged into the dispute,but maybe we should all realise that it is pearsons actions which have caused the rift and nothing else,and ultimately the cause of the problem.!

Regardless of the Pearson/Allam rift, Pearson didn't "drag" Johnny into this. The Allam's did.
Some of this would blow over if they put the pics back up the Whiteley Suite. Then they could, perhaps rightly, say, "there's a fee and FC haven't paid." Then it becomes a different ball game. Currently their heavy handedness has seen one of the greats of the game, and of the city, being insulted.
The Allam's PR machine needs an overhaul, as well as their approach to the SMC |
