noooooooo no no no. FC are Hoops, irregular hoops specifically. Nothing wrong with trying different things but we are black and white hoops. Widnes are just black and white, we have a pattern.

Same as Newcastle United are black and white stripes. They wouldn't change from that, so our hoops should be popping up somewhere.

Isn't the best shirt we have had but ill still buy it. Most of the comments on here are ridiculous. Moaning bar stewards. You have all turned into Gok Wan overnight! It's a rugby shirt ffs and ill still but it because it has the three gold crowns and the words of Hull FC.

People don't have to be Gok Wan just because they don't like the shirt. You just said it yourself, the shirt isn't the best but where as you'll be buying it others won't be. Don't think I will be either I'm going to wait for the away shirt before I make my mind up fully.

The point of emphasising the irregular hoops is that they work in black and white. Look at old b&w photos and you can still distinguish Hull teams/players from the rest. I agree the design of the kit should not be set in stone and be allowed to evolve and be updated but the irregular hoops should be incorporated.

nowt wrong with trying something different, how many variations can they do of black and white irregular hoops?
that's what we got last year and this year is something a bit different, its growing on me, be interesting to see what the away kit looks like

at the end of the day its black with white, has 'Hull FC' on it, simple really but each to their own

We copied the irregular hoops from the aussies after we'd been in existence over 40 years so no point in getting too precious over them. Also plenty of other teams in RL, RU and other sports have and continue to wear irregular hoops.

The club is a commercial operation and need some variety in kits or they'd sell less
