lets hope the FC board were watching and start to realise that 'top coach=success' not 'give a nice bloke who has no experience a chance and finish at the bottom' method we've been using.

If we continue to lose, the board will loose their nerve IMO. It would almost be better if we lost every game remaining this season now, so that we can have a fresh start. As it goes, if we win some he will probably be around until the first 5 or 6 games IMO, then we will get another coach in a panic move.

As PaulM says, there mind is made up, at least for the start of next season.

Nobody knows what their thinking, certainly no one on here. Anybody relying on statements from the board, or what they have been told even directly by them is a bit daft IMO as they would never discuss openly if they were considering moving away from a current coach.

It's not daft when they have openly said that Agar will be in charge next year and have publically said they are backing him and allowing him to build a team for next season.

I honestly don't see why you think that losing a few more meaningless games this season will make the board panic. The worst has already happened.

He is here for the start of next season so I would get used to it. Unless he walks away, which he won't.

Hold up. I never said that I didn't think that he would be. I said, if we lose consistantly over the next few games and in certain circumstance then there will be a reaction from the board, in my opinion.

Media and fan pressure even for meaninless games is difficult to ignore. You get a situation were for the next few games, there are constant chants of Agar Out, and the HDM, Humberside, KCFM start chomping as well and you watch what happens to those conclusive statements. The board in my opinion will cough in that situation, despite what they are saying.

Fair enough but there is also a huge gulf in quality between the 2 playing squads.

If we the fans started acting on it instead of whinging all the time he would be giving the boot b4 the start of the new season imo.

Taking banners to the live games would be a start as could a sit in and chants of we want agar out would prob do it.

But theoretically they never gave their coach the boot, he is now getting coached/guidance, we may well follow that root without the need for banners etc

seen as this is the place for rumours it would appear a local head coach has acquired a liking for pies ,heard he is not completely sold on them but certainly not adverse to testing a few for the moment
