I heard Phelps was going to Widnes yesterday.
McKinnon is a good signing and 2 years with an option is about right. Who else was available? Bowen and Minichello would probably be a lot more expensive than Wade, and have had similar injury records.
Still think we should try and get Luke Lewis to replace Fitz.

Just stating the facts. Those are his stats over his NRL career. His average over the last 5 years is 16 games a season, and he's played in 7 games out of 12 so far this season according to NRLStats.com.
I see no reason to believe that this will get any better now he's in his 30s, but I hope I'm wrong. |

He's played 8 out of 11 this year.
16 games per season over 5 year isn't to bad when you consider he wasn't always first choice at nz and he had a one off injury that hasn't returned.
I admit it's a risk but until you know why he was out every week it's pointless facts.
He has dodgy hamstrings btw.

Always been a huge fan of Lewis, has matured into a fine player. What ever happened to Rooney who played on the opposite wing to Lewis? Plus my fav player around that time was Martin Lang. |
