Radders had his best game in ages. As has been said earlier, glad a thread has highlighted this. He's had his share of stick over the last couple of years. Lots of promise all over the park.

I think so as well; he had plenty of game time and toughed it out with the rest of the forwards, alongside some impressive off loads etc. Great game from him today, let's hope he continues in the same vein of form.

I thought Radders was our best prop today; carried strongly offloaded well and tackled metronomically. I do think some of the abuse Lee gets is unwarranted; in recent seasons in a poor side I believe he has tried to take responsibility for facets of our play which he was not suited (ball playing and playmaking) because others around him were hiding or were just not up to the required standard. This season he'll be back to his best; working hard and making yards and tackles.

I do have concerns about his rubbish white boots he was wearing and has forced Tickle and Lauaki to wear too. Back to black fellas please!

the differance is that radders actually played well 2day...the last two years he has been average at best...as regards vella..i cant recall many fc fans spouting complete nonsense about him....

Perhaps it helped that he was surrounded by some class and so he wasn't carrying as much on his shoulders?

radford is a prop now, end of. Thought he looked better than cusack and dowes who both play a similar game

Agree about Radford. Dowes shaded Cusack IMO.

Yep! seems Radford will now be our fourth prop and Lauaki will be a 2nd rower. Not complaining though if Radders can put that kind of performance in consistently.

Cusack was probably the only player to have a poor game IMO.

I wouldnt say Cusack was poor but didnt stand out. Thought Dowes played well though.

Houghton took quite a few wrong options and showed why he shouldnt start games IMO.

Didn't think Tickle was great TBH.

If he shows decent form he will be worth another 2 years IMO. Good replacement for cusack

He was always on the shoulder though and could of made 2 good breaks if the sharpness was there with his catching.
