Hall's played only a few games at FB and has already shown improvement as you duly mention. Atleast he does something exceptional in order to mess it up, more then the rest of the team does. The ball off the floor is very harsh, he had to rush for it so that the Salford player didn't get a free PTB as no one else was there.

I think the influence he has on our attack negates a few dropped balls, without him we look like doing all.

They only scored three, and one was down to Briscoe, so the rest is simple maths.

Is it better to do something exceptional and then mess it up in such a spectacular fashion that we lose possession, or to do something basic and keep possession? The things that Craig Hall does exceptionally is from chancing his arm and it paying off at times, but the problem is he doesn't know when not to and royally fooks up.

He is not solid enough at FB. Horney is a much better full back, as is Thorman. Unfortunately, that weakens our halves as well. But we have more players that can play half-back better than Hall can play FB.

If there are no changes made after this, and we get stuffed by Rovers, I won't keep coming back from Leeds to watch this rubbish every weekend. If they aren't going to bother, why should I? I don't mind being sh*t. I do mind paying to watch a club that at times doesn't seem to give a crap and doesn't do much to change this.

Hall is the flakiest full back in the competition, bar none. Perhaps because he is our 3rd choice full back, and playing out of position, but these factors will count for nothing on Friday when Cooke/Dobson will ruthlessly exploit him under the high ball as surely as night follows day. Hall made more errors per game last season than virtually any other player (only 2 ahead of him IIRC) and his error rate has been similar in the last few games. He does show some excellent touches and is obviously pacy, but I agree with Wellsy. IMO he's not a first choice SL player.

Hall wasn't brilliant but he isn't one of the 12 others standing around in the defensive line waiting for the opposition to make their 10 before sticking a hopeful arm out to 'tackle'.

I think it's better to do something exceptional and chance it rather then being like the rest of our team and being dull and just one man rugby drives. Maybe he does make bad decisions at times but that comes from experience, something he has very little of at full back.

I think Hall to 6 and Horne to FB would be a good decison, Hornes got very little creativity in him for mine and could do as much damage as he does at 6 from full back and Hall could do far more at 6.

Have to say it amuses me when folk complain about boring percentage rugby and then we get comments like this.

An easy way to make no errors is to do nothing. Won't win you many games though.

of course he's not the clubs first choice he would say that himself but unless you can suggest someone better or do it yourself turn up at training ,,you all talk a good job but cant do it can you...

Hudds fans say thorman is one of the worst full backs they've ever had and as for whiting, he's a good player but he has no pace at all and would be ripped to shreds imo.
