... I'd image not all the tickets will have been allocated to both clubs, there'll be a limited number on "general" sale.

apart from the two sponsors/club officials blocks all other areas are on sale to both sets of fans, leeds rightly have a couple of blocks more due to higher pass holders (even though we have had higher cup gates)

Not quite sure why all the Leeds blocks were available but not all of ours. Was hoping to sit in the West stand as last year but that wasn't even on sale online. The other 3 teams have had tickets on sale for walk ups/members this morning.

We get told on sale from 10 am but they're on sale online before this. The 7p a minute phone line appeared to have no one answering.

Why do we/the RFL have to make it so complicated?

Even though its a train ride away I will be buying from the stadium on Saturday because I have had trouble with buying rugby tickets online and on phone before, ive learnt from my mistakes over the years.

I have just bought a ticket in E4.

Interesting conversation with the person at RFL. Firstly,

I was offered the members discount before I mentioned I was a season ticket holder.

They then told me that Hull FC had chosen to sell tickets in this way as they didn't want to do Tele sales or Web based sales them selves and had asked the RFL to help out.

When I pointed out, that despite being a season ticket member, I didnt live within close proximity of the stadium to allow me to buy a ticket on Saturday, they simply reiterated that this was Hull FC's decision.

Begs a number of questions -

1. do Hull FC have to give cash to the SMC for internet / tele sales?
2. why could they not have these on sale at the stadium either immediately before or after Fridays game?

Am I right in saying that anyone could ring/ book online today and get a ticket? surely pass-holders should get first choice as that is part of being a member. I know they have held the north stand back till Saturday but they are going to go very quickly.

What problems have you had? If you're not local maybe someone could get them for you?

correct, any number too i believe, as a pass holder very frustrated at not being able to get through easily or get tickets for 4 pass holders

Ive had problems with online ticket buying in the past. Was buying some tickets once and put in all my details and card details and what have you, pressed confirm and it wouldn't load the next page. Pressed refresh and it went back to the page with all my details so didn't have a clue if I had bought them until I got a confirmation email a couple hours later. There was another time when I was on hold to them for almost an hour on the phone so have to pay something like £10 cos it charges you and once when I tried to buy online and they wanted my account details which it wouldn't accept, tried a couple hours later and it did fine. When I bought tickets for 4 nations final I picked the seat and everything and I was sent tickets for a different one, same stand but a few blocks down from where I had chosen.

So if there is an opportunity to go down in person, hand over physical money and have a ticket placed into my hand there and then it is always the better option for me just to eliminate the hassle plus I tend to sit behind the sticks anyway.

Been a total cock up from the start by FC. Non members should never of been able to buy first. I tried buying online at 10am (as it said on FCs site) and couldn't get more than a single seat. Rang 50 odd times over 30 minutes, finally got through, told they were sold out, no more to going on sale. Look on FCs site and they've craftily altered the time to 9am after they'd all been bought by 10am. Then apparently a section of the west stand went on sale. What a ing joke

I managed to get some online as I checked if they were available at 9.30 but I wasn't aware of any members discount so have missed out on that.

I'm glad I've got mine as I'm not convinced there will be enough available on Saturday if it's 2 per member.

I feel sorry for poor Lucy, she will be very aquainted with my angry voice!! I also noticed that the time had changed on Hulls website, I mentioned it on here this morning. If you look on RFL"s website it still has Hulls press release with 10 am. We spent £30 ringing Ticketmadter and RFL today ( nearly 3 hours to get sorted). Its nit the venue thats annoyed me, its the method of buying that has been frustrating. Why couldn't we have had the same set up as last year, sold from the club shop, with all staff on board to pass holders first for a week, then general sale.

Seems people have had various issues, as has been said, I can't see many being available on Saturday, a shame for those that miss out.

Complete joke and it's no wonder this sport isn't as big as it should be. Ground is far too small to fit all the fans that want to go, and this is meant to be an event you would hope to attract casual fans, newcomers and neutral fans to go to. Instead some fans just won't bother with the hassle.

Just order some on the leeds website if you're struggling

If you have a look at all the links for the other three clubs, they all give priority to pass holders, Salford two days and both Leeds and Wigan three days.

Sadly, it doesn't show our club up in a very good light and you have to wonder what the reasoning is behind it. If it's because of the seemingly never ending rift with the SMC and being charged for selling tickets then why not use the club shop and get extra staff to man the phones for a couple of days?

Or bring forward the selling arrangements for Saturday to this morning.

.... the whole of the North stand, and most of the West stand go on sale on Saturday for members only.

The west stand tickets have not been released yet according to the press release on the website the north stand is being sold first which is probably around 3500, I would rather watch from the side than behind the goal but I don't want to leave it to chance that I don't get a ticket so I'll be in the queue on Saturday.

Why weren't passholders given priority?

They have been - Saturday.

Think the issue is that if they have sold 1500 tickets today, that's leaves about 6000 tickets available on Sat to 7/8k pass holders who can buy two each.

Full allocation should have gone to pass holders first with only one ticket per pass.
