Why does it matter when there announced?

Surely be better to announce any signings after playoffs are over or when there is a lull in pass sales. Yes we all want confirming who we have signed but the club will do what they see is best regardless.

Because the excitement and anticipation is so great that I may implode resulting in me not even being able to see who we have actually signed. Also meaning that I will have died for nothing.

I would imagine the likes of Holdsworth, McDonnell and Chase will be announced at the end of the regular season.

I think it's right that they don't confirm signings until the incoming players current teams have finished for the season.

I’ve just had a listen back on the interview Adam Pearson gave in July about recruitment. He clearly states that by the first week of September, that the fans will see the type of team we have constructed for next season. To me that indicated all announcements on new signings would be made by the 9th September. As we’ve had no information what’s so ever on these signings this week, can anyone shed any light on why? I want to buy a pass but I’m holding back to see who we’ve signed. I’ve seen so many false dawns and false promises from this club over the past few seasons. I’m reluctant to put more money into the club if these signings aren’t the type of player the owner is suggesting in his interview.

My point was don't make a statement like AP made in July and then not do it, very frustrating.

Holdsworth early next week,likely to be followed by crookes later in the week,then 2 a week after that

Pearson has invested so much time and money into the youth/training facilities

he's as open and honest and the type of chairman the we could only dream of yet some people are questioning him.

He also decided to bag our scrum half in a press conference, it's alright to have that view - its shared by many, but you don't do it in public.
