Childs had an influence on the match that is for certain. Would we have won without him? I doubt it.The boys battled hard but ultimately didnt have the strength or fitness to break a well drilled Giants defence. Any side that has Whiting at prop for as long as we had will strugglr against the Giants.
From whats been raised here as i recall Kirk's injury came when he had the ball and was clearly hit high. i saw from 40 yrds away in my seat Childs saw nothing. Ticks was an accident as he was tackling.
The decision to award penalty for obstruction was correct. Once they regather the ball you cant wait to see if they will knock on etc.
As for offside at scrums etc he was simply inept.
