It's possible I suppose. I seem to remember Pearson speaking highly of him and saying the door was open when he went back. Not sure whether he's what we need given Connor's quality as utility back but depends what the alternatives are on the market in the backs I guess.

Already bored of the Rankin love in on social media, played with plenty of heart, but don't think he was as good as some fans made out, we have better in the main positions he plays, don't need an overseas utility player.

Any1 talking rankin as a wing option needs to give their heads a shake. Massively over rated by hull fans. Ok fullback. Not a good enough half. As a replacement for Fonua is just setting ourselves up to fail

I think all questions over Talanoa have been due to his injury record not ability. Everybody knows how talented he is.

Carlos, Tuli and Fonua were all immense. Tuli and Fonua are like two extra forwards. Carlos is a constant threat with his footwork. Superb.
Crazy thing is, under the new regulations, we wouldn't be able to bring them in now.

What is this injry record though..It's nothing overly dramatic. If he plays most of the rest of season he'll be pushing 100 games in 4 years. Not really that concerning. Not when weighed up v what he provides

Carlos would struggle to get in the team,even called poor by 1 or 2..And from last year he isn't a centre-looks sublime at his best. Everything you want in a centre. I'd probs have him in the mix for player of the season..Kelly obvs but carlos among our consistent best barring 2 consecutive stinkers(team as a whole)
Talanoa for me as I've probably banged on about loads is massive for us and massively under rated by the fan base

I was one of those who undervalued Talanoa, we had a debate about it on here earlier in the season, have to say you was right and I was wrong. Playing really well and really glad he is signed for next year, particularity with Fonua going.

With it looking likely that this could be Ellis last year, do you think putting a contract to Savelio would be good business? He is a pretty destructive runner and isn't fully developed yet, very young, and combined with the return of Hadley next year, could see is with a high quality, young back row.

hasnt savelio signed a 1 year extension at warrington recently?
