You think a single SL team would average over 20k?

You think every Hull and Rovers fan would support a merge team plus an extra 2,000+?

| its all speculation,as it will never happen.all I know is there at least 20,000 rugby fans in this town.if hull were top now and winning things we would attract 15,000 to 16,000.even now with better away support we would average 13,000 +

I can't say I'm over impressed with the statement "The company relies upon the continued support of its fellow subsidiary Hull City Tigers Limited....",

And I wonder what the "Loss on disposal of trainings grounds" amounting to £445k" means?'"
Means they sold it for £445k less that it was worth in the accounts, basically.
Didn't we buy part off them?

Why is that so ridiculous?
I happen to agree. With the obvious caveat of there only ever being 1 rugby league team in the city of Hull, no mergers etc. It's not so long ago we were averaging 12kish and what's Rovers average, 7k? 20k for a winning team is well within the bounds of plausibility.

| Did those saying that it is ridiculous to suggest a single Hull team could attract 20k average...
If a Derby game between the two pretty unsuccessful clubs can attract 22k, why couldn't they all watch one club if they were doing well? And that's not including away support?
If we merged, yes you'd lose fans because they wouldn't like the change, but that wasn't the point being made.

If it's the Ideal Standard training ground, then why is it in the SMC accounts and not City's?
And even if it's not the training ground, what asset does/did the SMC "own" that it can now simply write off?

Quite. The question being 'Are there potentially at least 20, 000 rugby league fans in the city who would attend matches?' The answer, yes, as has been patently shown already.
Even in the Premiership City sometimes are not hitting £20k. And a large proportion are self-confessed 'plastics' (runs for cover).

For Home attendance only? Most, I would imagine as the North Stand takes 4000 Away fans.

As a company it will be able to buy and sell assets, suppose it's possible it bought the training facilities and rented them to City.

Could you expand?
Do you disagree that there have been less than 20000 home fans at City unless there has been a sell-out? If so, how, as the Away Stand seats 4000? What else is there "to know", unless you mean the ability to perform basic addition and subtraction, such as that held by the average 6-year-old?

Actually, the Away segregated section has now been moved to the NE corner with a capacity to seat 2600 for this season. They've had attendances as low as 21000 for Premier League matches this season, 18000 for the Europa League game. In previous seasons to this, regardless of the allocation of tickets, the North stand still had capacity of 4000 which must be removed from the equation, appropriate segregation of opposing fans being applicable.
In the Championship, the average attendance was around 15000, roughly the same as ours when we started to perform. This is, of course, ignoring the contribution to the RL total attendance in the city from you lot.
