Well I am a Hull City supporter of some 65 years so I am possibly the oldest idiot that posts on here. As for Lambrettaman he is one of the most credible posters I have encountered over the many years I have been on various internet forums.

Whatever his motives and as with the Johnny Whitley stuff he obviously has some sort of anti Council agenda, It must just look like petulence to the outsider and small town politics in what must appear a 'small town' City. It must blook to the rest of the Country as a bit of a farce really and to those in HUll as just petulence on the part of MR Allam.

For me he has now turned down the opportunity to let a lot of families, kids and residents go to the end of their streets to watch the victorious Tigers go by in traditional fashion on an open top bus. He also denies several foreign players and locally born staff an opportunity to experience a Civic reception and the way that we so proudly do these things and honour our acheivers so for me its its all very sad.

Went this morning for 3 tickets for tonight. Expected a queue, but not a single person waiting. Cant see a big turnout, which is a shame considering the players achievement.
It beggars belief that supposedly intelligent men cant sit around a table and come up with a solution to all of this that benefits everybody and also has no adverse affect on anybody. Spot on. All this talk of £100m/£150m going into City is bollox, the only people who come out of it with anything are the players and their agents. It's an absolute myth that places prosper as a result of premiership football.

all the pubs down anlaby road will open up again,with all these hoards of friendly away supporters coming here.well till the day of the game anyway.then they will put the no away supporters stickers in the windows like they did last time.

There are endless potential benefits for our City if this opportunity is grasped. The problem is that everybody is suspicious of each others motives and from our point of view there are too many Hull, Rovers and City fans trying to tease and score points off each other rather than look at the bigger picture and what could be achieved here.
