I would not have put 'exceptional' in the same sentence as Brett Kearney. A decent enough FB, not the best and not the worst.

Would love them all but do you think we"ll sign both whitehead and Bateman . I'd be happy with just one of them . I've heard wildie is done , same time I heard mcgoldrick had signed . Think the McDonnell one is the most interesting , most think he's definatly not signing while some reckon he will . I said at the time I couldn't see humberside going with the story if it wasn't true and I'll still stick with that .

Pearson said we've got about nine new faces coming in, with the rumours knocking about and what we probably need being 2 props, 2 back rowers, a FB, two new halves and a back up, winger (though I don't think we need one anymore) those were my guesses. Some are definite though.

Reckon you might have got about 66% correct there, but like everyone keeps saying, time will tell and roll on Sept. I'm getting more and more frustrated with all of the conjecture and trying to make sense of it all.

Has anyone else noticed that our club seemed to have learned a lesson regarding 'homesick Lancastrians' ! With O'Carroll, Turner, and probably Tickle going back over the top, it seems were targeting British players as close to home as possible ie. East Hull, Wakey, Cas, and Bradford (for obvious reasons). Permanent mid-season signings in Pitts and Watts also fit this criteria !
Makes good sense to me as any of todays mollycoddled players who have more than 2 hours commuting every day are always liable to get fed up of it and decide they want to ship out.

All 9 of those play for sides in the bottom half of the table. You can add Arundel, McGoldrick & Watts to that, even Pitts has played most of his footie Wakefield. Is that going to make you much better?

Apart from question mark over McDonnell/or AN Other fullback, think your probably right. Then just got to take your pick from other most popular rumours which currently seem to be Amor, Wildie and the SOO Prop! (no props in your list above and we certainly need 2)
