I think your just worried Allam wants the KC for Hull City only , deep down that must be on the mind of Hull FC fans surely.

No. A soft loan is a loan below the market rate of interest and often with flexible or lenient repayment terms. It's still a loan and has to be repaid at some point.

You're not worried about an extra £1Million loan (albeit an interest free one) on top of your already crippling debts?
How much does that make your total debt for merely trying to "keep up" with big clubs like ours? ![Shocked icon_eek.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_eek.gif)

| I really can;t see what gain anyone would have from getting FC out of the KC, I agree they might not be the primary focus of the owner (are they now?) but it is surely a more viable venture with the rugby team in it then without them. As a sporting vilage the RL would attract circa 14k every other week to the village, using its hotels and facilities. Why would he throw that out.
Staffs point is valid, that if it went pear shaped then you would go with it but the ulterior motive of removing FC just seems a bit paranoid.

I have multiple concerns. His plans for the KC are a worry whether we remain as tenants or not - see StaffsFC's post above. Nothing he has said has indicated that he is either trustworthy or knows anything about sport, and he has stated his opinion that Rovers and FC should merge. He has the money and influence to make that happen if he really wants to. His plans for City appear to be pie in the sky and put the future of the club in considerable doubt IMO.
In short, I think he's bad news for the sports clubs in Hull either by design or by accident.

Never heard of it until today, had to look on the internet to find out, what Kosh says seems to be true, but it looks Allam is offering 0% interest.
Not sure why he didn't just call it an interest free loan.

Of course it is.
However its not just that which worries me, its the fact that pillock Neil Hudgell is starting to bring him to our sport. Whilst you Rovers fans bask in the glory of a one Million investment (which only buys you time by the way not much else) you must have forgotten what the Allams long term plans for our sport is.

Because then the dobbins would realise they are £4.5m in debt...Look at the wording it has got them all thinking it was a gift..fans happy no concept that they are in the mire even deeper.
Rovers approached Allam for the dosh, this suggests to me they are really struggling, they hoped the Mason deal would put bums on seats that has not happened, there are attendances are not up on last season to date.

Rovers are in the e big time, I've heard for a while now through various sources the players have not being paid some weeks. How true it is I have no idea but they is no smoke without fire and all that.

If I were a rovers fan it's this that would worry me.
Just how bad are things for rovers for Hudgel to go cap in hand to a guy who thinks it would be best if we merge. and were concerned at what is happening with the stadium, Think they have bigger worries to be honest..

Rovers fans are not stupid, they should surely realize that losing £450,000 a season and taking out loans to improve the ground (at snail pace) wouldn't put them in a healthy position.

They may or may not be stupid, but they do have a massive blind spot when it comes to Hudgell. They simply will not entertain the thought that he might make decision that won't benefit their club. None so blind as those who will not see...

| Good on Rovers for getting Allam to pay off Willie's wage, we don't want and need any money off him what so ever(Westerman 150k transfer fee), so let them gloat and we will have our laff when it goes belly up.

If he was prepared to develop it and gave tight assurances about our tenancy then it'd be an option that need seriously looking at.
It's irrelevant who owns the ground, its been run by the football club for years anyway, haven't the last few chairmen been head of the SMC.
Fact is it makes far more sense keeping RL at the KC than it does 'throwing FC out'. The only party I could see who would prefer a rugby free zone are the FA and they should have no say whatsoever.

I agree with you on that one, he wouldn't throw us out as we would be able to help the income of the stadium.
What I do fear is not being allowed access to the stadium because his village idea has gone tits up.

What we pay is insignificant in premiership football terms. If he wanted us out, the amount we pay wouldn't make him think twice about it

| Simply Question for every FC Fan who might think that the sale of the stadium to the Allams is a good idea; 'Do you want your Hull FC to be the tenants of Hull City?
ANd if you still do What would happen then when there is a clash of dates with a City game for a play off match on Sky who do you think would get precident?
