Can't say that on the basis of one game, Fox is an outstanding winger (as is Briscoe).

Nowt funny about Fox's wing last night. But, yes, plenty to roll your eyes at if you're Tony Smith.

Should have stuck with his first instinct when he picked Tom in the initial train-on squad. Injury or no injury he finished the season far stronger than Fox and frankly embarrassed him last night.

Tony Smiths threequarter selections are going to be very interesting. Is he really going to play O'loughlin in the centres? And dare he play Eastmond in the centres against international opposition?
Peter Fox' confidence looks fragile at best to me but should he get a chance to repair it against the French or should we just put Lee Smith in there straight away?
One thing is for certain, a 2006 version of Kirk Yeaman and Gareth Raynor would have walked into this team.

i'd be very happy if tom didnt play against the aussies. i think he is good enough probably one of the best wingers at getting out of his own half.

But just he's had two serious ankle injuries in two seasons and i'd like to see him do a full season before he's thrown in. Also regardless of club Fox has been good this year and in the CP derby saved two tries and was probably the difference between the sides

Interesting that Yeaman is only 1 year older than Fox, yet Fox is seen as an up-and-coming young three quarter and Yeaman is written off, despite having several GB caps. How great would it be for FC if he could recapture his form of 3 seasons ago?

I think it's because he's not a definite pick at centre for FC yet , never mind at international level.
