Never heard the interview but I have mixed feelings over JS. The rugby at times was dour with Hudds but they did do the basics right such as support play and playing with aggression. He had reasonable success with them and as a no.2 his experience will be vital to Agar. He is Hull through and through too, I am hopeful his appointment will be a good one.

the problem for the Giants was that we had so many big 'fit looking' players who could not burst their way through a paper bag. Sharpy is a smashing bloke and technically first rate. Knows nowt about fitness and i am chuffed he wanted to take ben Cooper out of the Giants. Wouldn't wish him on you guys.

Some of those players may have 3-5kg of nice looking muscle. Good for a bodybuilder not an explosive athlete.

At the sponsor's night last night the players couldn't speak highly enough of AGAR & SHARP said the training had been fantastic, totally different outlook on defence and will see a massive improvement in that area

Also spoke very highly of Chris Thorman and said he will have a massive influence with a great rugby brain in the middle of the park

Also seemed a real togetherness between the players

And Impressed with Ben Cooper

They were saying the same about the last Sharp we had - right up until the moment he was sacked.
