I think thats pretty harsh on Hodgson as he has played for NSW and for Australia and was pretty much the heart of the Wests side.

As i have said before i would love for us to go after Josh Dugan from Canberra who is having a breakout season in the NRL and is off contract.

I don't think Canberra would let him go. They know they have a very good talented player within the side.

Given how desperate they are to keep hold of Campese plus the rumours of Monaghan going back there, they may not have a choice as i imagine we would be able to offer him more money than what he could get by staying in the NRL.

And Greenshields, whilst not a 'superstar', was an established regular in a team that was challenging in his couple of years as a regular. He certainly didn't look out of place in a team that was packed with genuine world class players.

hodgson NEVER represented australia at senior level...he was well behind such full backs as minichello,slater etc...saying that tho he is a good player..bit lightweight at times but solid all the same and a good try-scorer
