No Lauaki came on , may as well not have done though. His attempt to tackle the French player who took the ball off Obst which lead to a Catalan try was so pathetic it's untrue. If that's him playing for a new contract god help us.

He's a big, thick, lazy pudding of a player. The absolute epitome of every thing that's wrong under this coach.

I was pretty pleased when we signed Hame. A big, tough and strong running South Sea Islander was exactly what we needed.

Unfortunately, he has turned out to be none of the above and looks more and more like a waste of a quota spot with every game. I can't think of a reason why we should renew his contract, especially given his quota status.

I still think a better coach could get more out of Lauaki

So he needs to go elsewhere then !

Here here....Hame has been one of the better forwards this year and had 1 dodgey game and gets slagged off by many on here...with the right coaching,he could do on the right what Manu does on the left.

Yet he puts his body on the line week in week out playing this game....what do you do.

...think its harsh on Hame tbh.

BUT , there's no getting away from the fact that when a guy as big as him gets his hands on an opposite number he should 9 times out of 10 stop them and do some damage in the process. He just doesn't do that , he flaps with his arms and gets no impact. Whether that's lack of aggression , desire, technique I don't know and all of those may be as a result of poor coaching , poor fitness etc but whatever the reason(s) it ain't happening and at a time when according to him he's looking for a new contract. I don't disagree that he's been better of late but that's way from being good enough and he's not on his own.

As was Houghton's attempt just before it. And for the breakaway try in the first half that was a Yeaman spot tackle that went wrong and sold us completely down the river. Fact is there are any number of players making poor mistakes week in and week out.

Which brings us back to issues with the coaching or lack of it. For me if we were doing so well in training as Agar keeps banging on about then surely purely on the law of averages we would actually put this so called work in training into a game and as yet we have seen precious little coming through.

He said only a few weeks ago that the buck stops with him, nothing has changed and nothing seems to be working so he has to go.
