Would take Owen in a heartbeat if he comes back well from injury. Not sure when he's OOC though, but they also have Mathers now.

Hame dissapointed me yesterday,i think the main problem was him not hitting the ball at speed,he was stationary everytime he received the ball which made him look as innefective as Dowes. He was wrapped up far too easily which is criminal for such a big agressive unit.

Thought the opposite completely, had a good stint for me.

I'm with you. I also don't understand the 'wrapped up far too easily' bit, as I remember several times him pushing the tackler back, looking for the offload and having no runners.

I thought he played well too, hoping for better things this season from him.

Like manu, he would be devastating if used effectively. I actually thought he did OK yesterday and was let down a couple of times when he made a break and had no one backing him up

He did but through a combination of him being in the wrong place , not running "a line" and poor/slow ball he made no ground before he got to a defender and then spent energy beating 1 , 2 or 3 men in a wrestling match over maybe 3 to 5 meters. Dowse who was poor at least made a few meters before he got to the defender. O'meley and Radford did both , got to the defender quickly , hit up hard and carried the defender forward or knocked them over. Lauacki needs to improve his technique massively , with that physique and aggression he should be far far more effective. And then if we had some runners as well ................ Need a coach for all that though.

Owen was Rovers bound, but got injured, so Cas signed him and are paying him through his injury as soon as he gets fit, then Rovers have some sort of contract saying that they can sign him if they want too.
