| 8 out through injury, first team selection or international duties. Still beat Cas 36-26 today.
Some great names too in our U19s. Zeus Silk nave have been eclipsed by Marquez-Laynez.

| All 3 of the FC lads made the starting line up for England U16 in the 52-12 defeat of Wales.
Prop Jack Brown scored the first 2 tries and centre Robbie Storey bagged a couple too.
Good job these 3 are ring fenced ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

It was Wigan's Sam Storey that got 2, not our Robbie Storey.

| Trailing 12-0. Bit disappointing but on the face of it a few key players missing:
HTW
Bastiman
Downs
Fash
Bower
Abdull
Logan
Lancaster
A few playing with knocks too apparently. I'd like to think we're resting some for the play-offs- does anyone have the latest on play-off status/top 4? Lost track of it.

| in 3rd 4 points clear of 5th place Rovers with two games including tonight to play but points difference is 180 odd different so whatever happens we are in the play-off but with an away game. We could stay third with a win against Warrington in our last game at Bishop Burton otherwise lose tonight and we finish 4th. Very weakened team tonight which you can read about in the Diary on Monday but for now at least a very young FC team is leading 14-12.
Now losing 16-14 massive effort though with only 15 fit players starting 10 minutes to go!

| Think you got wrong table Wilf, we was 6 clear of 5th place Cas.
We should still finish 3rd , def if we win last home game so will go away to Saints in playoff.
Fash and Downs both warmed up tonight but we're 18 & 19th man.
Poor game from both sides, KR went 70 mins between scoring opportunities and prob worst FC display I've seen this year. Yes you can blame lack of bodies but even the side we had out should have been good enough to earn the result, I the end KRs enthusiasm won them the game

Bit strange leaving Fash and Downs out when they're getting first team football. A disappointing result but since we won the previous 5 derbies and will finish top 3, pretty satisfying end for our academy. Think we'll get hammered at Saints with so many missing, mind, they're top dogs in the comp IIRC.

| Good luck in the top 4 play offs. You deserve to be there. Would have loved to have seen the current crop of under 19s play each other at full strength but alas this season it wasn't to be.
Over the 3 game series, you coming out on top with a positive points difference of 6 is a fair reflection of the games I have seen.
What is for certain is that although few of us want this "collaboration" at junior level, we will dominate Acadamy rugby from now on. Let's hope we both produce some superstars though....
Anyway, final bragging right to the Robins. ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

Yeh sorry Karl looking at wrong table looked at pre split one ![CRAZY d040.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//d040.gif) We'll finish third in 8's because whatever 4th place Warrington do points difference should guarantee us an away game at Saints in the play offs. Rovers win last night was their first in the 10 play -off games played. As RBA says THE CITY will have a strong merged academy next season and I guess questions will be asked if they don't sweep all before them, but its sad for the juniors to see the end of these derby's we've seen some passionate and great encounters between the two Clubs in the modern era.

Quote ="UptheCream"To clear it up about the missing players, Abdull had an injection on a swollen thumb so wasn't fit but Fash, Downs and Logan all could have played - in fact two of them even warmed up!!
Callum Smith played with a groin problem and illness, and Josh Wood with a sore back. I find it disgraceful that this was the case.
Best thing for Pearson was for Rovers to win on Wednesday, makes his little merger points seem less full of bull. Although I will say one thing, the three Derby games this year have been shocking in terms of quality.
Hull face Warrington a week on Saturday before the top four play-off, hopefully our first team lads will be back for that at least.
Anyhow, here's Wednesday nights review: upthecream.co.uk/robins-take-fin ... d-hull-fc/'"
Wire beat Saints last night to draw level with yourselves, so whoever wins that game next week will play the semi final away to Saints, the losers will travel to Wigan.
