Mention of the pitch, given how little we use it and how much soccer knackers it like for like more than rugby does I think we should only take 20-25% of the costs of a relaid pitch, you can bet your bottom dollar that was divied up 50-50 or probably worse!
Even the lights that were bought (to the sum of £300k were to encourage the grass to grow during the winter, something only a problem because of the soccer!)
What about the 2013 world cup game that was a sell out, that would come under the 2014 accounts no? Where did the income for that game go, considering the SMC would be taking a whack for every single ticket sold plus plenty of sales from all areas (especially beer!) i think the small figure acredited to rugby along with a massive costs is pure fantasy concoted to be one sided.
The council should be forced to investigate, they can't even see the damage this manipulative rapist is doing ffs!

I've just noticed that the SMC accounts were for a 11 month period, not 12, so the costs work out even worse.
It would also explain why the SMC's income from FC was smaller than we expected, as 2 games in July 2013 weren't included.

Always makes me chuckle when hull city fans compare their attendances to ours, they seem to forget one major factor and that's that there is two top flight rugby teams in this city and only one top flight football team, I wonder how city's attendences would fair if they were two top flight football teams. I Think attendences would be on par if there was only one rugby team.
