the promotion of Hull city should have been a time for the whole city to celebrate, instead it has become tarnished. The invitation to a civic reception was offered by the our political leaders on behalf of all of us, to recognise The Tigers achievement. By turning it down it is a slap in the face for everyone in Hull and is another "Jonny Whiteley picture removal" moment. I know of quite a few city supporters that are very upset by some of the clubs actions in recent times. I can not understand why they need FC out of "there" stadium the two Wigans operate side by side with little to no aggro. I can understand Mr Allam saved Hull city and rightly deserves credit for that and its right that city fans adore him for that. We had the old board including Kath, Richo and the Wetheralls who saved us and I for one will always be thatnkful for that.

The fact is both clubs agreed to share the KC and over the last ten years it has proved to be a catalyst for both clubs to move forward. I am getting very tired of all this back biting and arguing its more then just silly, its childish , pathetic and shows exactly why the city is a joke.

Good post. However, the national Mail's report was particularly sychophantic to Allam. Painted him as the underdog-made-good-against-all-odds and a philanthropic saviour to all of Hull to boot. Hope the wider public don't latch on to this version, but already think they will. In Premiership soccer terms, Hull City ARE the underdogs.
