From the pictures it looks like the same material as last years.

The more I look at it the more I fault it. Why does the chevron (it was a V when I was at school) not match up. Look at Ellis' shoulders its out of line from back to front. If you are charging £50 they should be getting the detail correct. Glad to hear the college logo is stitched on and not a transfer. I assume the Minstergate logo is permanent and not a transfer.

I can see the kids getting one but not me. First time for many a year. Sadly

Main reason I will consider not buying one is if the main sponsor is a transfer. It'sf poor quality, there is no excuse for it for nearly £50.

Same thoughts as me. For nearly £50 to not actually get the seams lined up correctly is poor indeed and something Lee Jenkinson should be on to ISC about.

I looked at it earlier in the shop - the sponsors are the printed on type of previous years. The Hull College badge is a patch stitched onto the shirt, and the back sposors are also printed on - annoyingly, the KC patch is the same as last year with a white background printed onto the white bit of the shirt - rather than just the text printed onto the white background of the actual shirt.

The shirt is a nice shirt - the ones in the shop were all aligned (design wise) across the shoulders, it is again the sponsors bit that spolis it - especially the hull college "patch".

BB -- As much as I have been a big buyer of replica kits since they were first available in the 80s and I bought 6 last season, times are changing. When you get no change out of £50 the consumer will become increasingly fussy, and rightly so. Transfers are tacky. They don't last and seems should be aligned. I wear replica shirts dating back to 2004 still without any real signs of wear and tear. The 2012 version with its transfers is already "retired" as the transfers are awful especially the KC one on the back. It's not on and if the club honestly think in times as tough as we are seeing now that people will ignore this then they might get a shock.
As I say the kids will probably get one but I will be thinking long and hard before I commit to one for me and my wife.

I struggle to get my head around why an adult male (unless part of a team) wants top wear the shirt of the club he supports.

Invariably they have a name and number on the back and usually a lad 20+ years younger than themselves..

Replica shirts look great on kids and shapely women.

Same thing goes for adult males in cartoon shirts - a massive no...!!!!

Only if you have earnt the right to wear the top as a player should you be wearing one after puberty.

If you want to be supportive and wear team colours, wear a simple polo with club crest or a scarf.

After looking at the picture with Gareth Ellis wearing the shirt you are cock on mate - I showed it to my partner and he said re the shoulders it looks inside out. If you were to give this in as a piece of needle work in an exam you would not get 40%. As they are charging £47 for this you are being ripped off - I would expect a shirt for £50 from a High Street retailer to be perfect this looks like a second or reject. The Chevron I dont mind.

You're right of course and the 10.000 people who bought/wore the shirts last year are all misguided fools for pretending to be Kirk Yeaman or Tom Briscoe.
