I think the most embarassing thing for KR Fans is that the "not selling club" have sold Taylor, and not to the highest bidder!

why not go and post on the rovers board, you could comment on your world class coach, the recruitment that is the envy of SL, the fact then new stand is 6 months late, or any number of massive strides forward the club have made.

Paid for mine at the club shop today but not overly impressed, given a receipt and told not to lose it as I would need it to pick up my pass in due course and that I would hear from the club when it was ready. Felt better last year when I paid up and was immediately handed a passbook (even if the hudge was plastered all over it).
It's been alluded to that we are selling passes via the club shops to avoid the SMC getting their hands on any commission (or something like that) but I think we need to get smarter on the marketing side. Should be simple enough to email a standard thank you / acknowlegement email to fans who have purchased a pass which would cost diddly squat (a letter or SMS message to those not on email). Club should also be chasing any fans who have not yet renewed their passes, including lapsed pass holders by email / sms. All seems simple stuff but would appear were not geared up for it. Used to hold a NUFC season pass when I lived up in the N East many years back, always got a thank you for renewing your pass letter, and several reminders / chasers when I moved back to Yorkshire and didn't renew.
Hopefully this will be addressed next season as generally our marketing is streets ahead of most other SL clubs.

You're not the only one mate, no confirmation or receipt just the 1st payment (deposit) taken out of the bank.

Must admit to being a little disappointed in the fact myself and everyone else I know have had no correspondance from the club firstly thanking for renewing our passes or to acknowledge receipt of the renewel and payment etc with a letter confirming details and when we will receive them etc.
Think its pretty poor by the club and I'm quite suprised by this TBF.

I believe the issue with not getting the Pass straight away is that the new swipe cards are 'manufactured' by an external company. Hull City had the same issue with their passes too.
On the other comments I completely agree, the club should be maintaining a customer database and contacting fans who haven't renewed.
I'd also suggest that we send out an 'introduce a friend' type offer to fans who have renewed, and offer the fan say a voucher for the club shop if they get someone else to buy a pass. This is a tactic SKY have used for years (using M&S vouchers as a reward) so it must work. This may help us get nearer the 10K target.
