Have we pick up any injuries in this game then or is everyone healthy?

Rome was not built in a day, anyone expecting miraculous results within a season are living in cloud cuckoo land. I expect to see an improvement, season on season hopefully we will strengthen the side next season.
Time will tell if Gentle can form a side to compete at the highest level, I am sure Pearson will expect it.
The season is still in its infancy and without injuries, hopefully we can progress

Whilst Bentham's penalty distribution cost us in the first half (we weren't seven times less disciplined than Salford (I think the penalty count was about 7:1 at half time)) the second half we convincingly lost ourselves.

Bentham evened it up a bit in the second half and we got our share of the ball, but, like the FC of old we made wrong choices and shocking mistakes near our line.

Four times we should have scored easily. A suicide pass from Lynch on the second tackle blew the first, Tickle spectacularly knocked on next, Horne chucked a shocker to Yeamo that was intercepted and couldn't see who was responsible for the other fumble but it was another blown chance - all of these happened within five yards of our line.

In no way were the youngsters responsible, the senior players let us down bigtime. Discipline, errors and our weak pack are now serious issues, be interesting what Gentle says tomorrow, 'cos the pressure's starting.

Your right, but how do you define "progress". For me it would be closing the gap on the teams who finished above us. Loosing to a side thst we beat twice last season would indicate that they have "progressed" more in the off season than we have, and no disrepsect to Salford that is disappointing.

It indicates nothing of the sort. It's one result. If Salford finish above us it'll be time to be making those sorts of statements.

I'm going to disregard everything in this post based on the fact you mixed Horne up with Manu for the intercept pass. They don't even look slightly alike.

Just seen the tries on the SKY red button, from the breif highlights it seemed a slow game with poor defences, Briscoe also appeared at fault for 2 tries.

That's true of most sides though.

It won't happen overnight. If we're still giving performances like that after round 12, it's worth worrying. After 3 games is too soon to be hand-wringing.

TBH we're not on here to hand credit to Salford, but well done anyway.
