I am elated !!

This is the best news since we signed Knocker Norton........and we all know what happened after that. It was the catalyst for success, the crowds came and the great players came and the trophies came.
I think this news will be even better for the fortunes on the field for this great club. We the faithful have indeed been patient and faithhull, we've waited for this for sooo long.
Now let just get behind the team.
Success will not happen overnight, but it will come. I for one am very excited.

Lets just let the management team do what they have to do. We just have to trust them. They will make the right decisions re. coaching staff. If its Rich who improves and gives us success then great. But I'm mercenary and I don't really care who it is as long we watch my beloved Airlie Birds play great rugby and win trophies again.

I'm really excited about what the next 6 years hold, not the next 6 matches. But I'm convinced we will get the success we crave. and I just can't wait to get strapped and enjoy the ride. Come on Boys !!

i think everyone is right to be cautious with pearson being so close to allam with hull city, but we have to go by what pearson said on radio humberside this morning that he and himself alone has aquired all the shares from the last board, we have to trust him and wait and see, it may take a couple of years before we see ourselves back in the top 3/4

tim wilby was a chancer, who if i correctly remember only met david lloyd on a golf course and sold him his 'vision' of hull fc and hull city playing in a super stadium, once it went tits up, wilby was nowhere to be seen and lloyd nearly destroyed two clubs, complete opposite to pearson

Really?? So that is why in 2002 he tried to buy the club and was only thwarted by Kath's unreasonable price demands. It is also common knowledge that he was part of the driving force behind International RL at the KC and we all know what happened as soon as he left.

Adam is a straight up guy who will tell it as it it. He isn't afraid to talk to the fans and will be very honest with them and I look forward to seeing how his reign at FC changes us for the better....hopefully!!!

People need to accept that people don't all think alike. I am not against this move I welcome it with open arms but with a note of caution. There are no quick fixes or magic wands. Some people are going way over the top as though the messiah has arrived.

Plus some of the comments aimed at the current board are ott too imo, they have done by and large a very good job.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I appreciate what the former BOD did for us, but we haven't progressed so a change was due, I know Adam and I believe him to be a man of his word, hence I am excited about the future, he said in interview that a merger was not on the cards, I also believe that. I can see us with shared training facilities with City, shared physio, shared doctor, shared nutritionsit etc., and that makes sense to me. I certainly don't think we're suddenly going to become world beaters, but what has been nice is to hear some clear, unambiguous, ambition from the very top, instead of being told that 8th and almost in the playoffs is "exciting".

We shall wait, and we shall see, and we'll all (hopefully) be here in 20 years time, by which time I suspect we'll have changed hands at least twice, that is the nature of modern sport, it's a business.

And by and large people are discussing it reasonably. But you can hardly blame people for being hostile towards somebody who's first input is to call people Fucking idiots.
