| Quote ="Raggytash"You think that Leeds playing at Headingly is damaging their fanbase or on the field success? Has Huddersfield had unbelievable crowd growth and on field success since moving to Galpharm? Has international RL improved since the inclusion of Quins/Sheffield/Gateshead?
Hull's record attendance was set in 1936. 28798 were at the Boulevard. Why don't we get that many at the KC? Safety restrictions? Because of small minded people that don't like all seater stadiums?'"
i think headingly is certainly holding leeds back. given the citys population their crowds are poor.
huddersfield with zero real success on the field have grown their crowds every year.
of course if you think halving your average crowds is progress, good luck to you

What an absolute nonsense! Chelseas crowds are poor in comparison to the population and they have a sy ground. And how is Headingly holding Leeds back? They are solvent and are the current World Champions.

| Quote ="Linebreaker"Must be the same for City because on look north the other night the team were clearly holding some kind of training session at an empty KC.
The atmosphere at the KC is good when we get a decent crowd. I do worry though if they expand the stadium. It will look a bit empty. =redAt least the seats are black and for night gmes it shouldnt be too bad. I worry even more though for City if they expand and then eventually get relegated. That really would be a poor show imo. Its ofetn been the case that the atmosphere has been poor. Even super city fan Burnsie has commented on it.
Grounds need standing areas. All seaters are rubbish grounds if you are talking atmosphere alone.'"

and the thing is the KC is probably one of the best grounds in the world which a RL clubs plays at.
ive been to suncorp stadium and thats brilliant. most of the sydeny grounds are average, and the Kc is probably the best in SL, or at least on par with wigan and hudds.
and with a poor team the crowds are 13,000 - 14,000.

No I wasn't actually, I was showing that having a nice all seater stadium and success doesn't guarantee packed attendances. That was the point.

Don't see why I need to explain myself to a jumped up keyboard warrior like you but my cousin lives in Kensington and I have seen Chelsea v Wimbledon at Stamford Bridge. You may claim to be well traveled but it certainly doesn't give any credibility to your arguments.

And to think, you are one of those who actually lobbies the point about owning a stake in Hull FC. God forbid the day.
You seem to like living in the past, judging by your by passing of the 1990's and early 2000's with regard to the Boulevard atmosphere.
Since 1998/9. Manchester United have not (on a consistant basis) trained on the Old Trafford Pitch. Their reserves could well have played the odd game their, but as far as I am aware, their reserves, are not the ones who have since lifted the premier league, FA cup, League cup and Champions League. They normally play their games at places like Stockport and Maccelsfield (et al). A little bit like Liverpool use the Halliwell Jones every now and then or that Leeds Untied use Belle Vue from time to time (or they did until very recently.
At what point could you be @r$ed to read the original post without spurting out more drivel? An open training session! Do you think they let them in for nothing? COMMERCIAL REASONS!
If you take your head out of your anus, and read what you put in the first place "we get no home advantage as we are only allowed to train on the pitch once a week", you will realise that training on the pitch is not the home advantage you make it out to be, as the examples of Man Utd (plus other football clubs) proves.

For spiritual home read "Change is not good"
FFS Hull FC didn't even start out at The Boulevard.
And for the record, your arguements and points are worthless as you cannot back up a single one of them due to your blinkered hatred of the board.

| and the thing people are forgetting is the BOULEVARD is unlikely to pass the franchise criteria anyway.
if the club did want to move back there, not that they would, would they even be granted a license?

| maybe if Hull FC dropped the price of season tickets to what huddersfield are charging they would have 15,000 season ticket holders and average crowds of 20,000, then the atmosphere would be fantastic.
whenever you see large numbers of empty seats at game, i think the price of tickets is too high.
why dont the club offer existing season tickholders a 20% or 30% discount off their season ticket if they bring in a new ST holder.
