If you are an FC supporter then that is what you do, SUPPORT, that includes like me being a season pass holder for 30 years...I have seen some dour teams in the past but FC are in my blood and as much as I may moan and groan I am still a Supporter. The word Fan is supposedly short for Fanatic, if you really are an FC Fanatic then you will Support them through thick and thin. I know money is tight but the Direct Debit scheme I use is a good way of spreading the cost.

So if you can't afford a pass or can't make enough games to justify buying one your not a supporter?

Well if you don't go to any games how are you a supporter?
If you don't give the club any support then they are just your favourite club.Even if you manage 1 or 2 games a season then you are supporting,if you subscribe to the tv channel or buy from the club shop then you are supporting the club,i think some people confuse supporting a club to having a favourite club.

That's what I mean, the post I quoted basically said if you don't buy a SP you're not a supporter. I was just pointing out that not everybody can afford to get to every game or be able to get to games due to work & other commitments.

I don't even think you have to back your team financially to be a supporter.
If a person is unemployed and really struggling with day to day living, would that then make them a "Non supporter" as they would be putting all their available money into living rather than spending it on their team of choice.

Of course that is an extreme situation but i guess with 2600 food handouts in the hull area in the last 6 months it could well apply to at least one Hull Fc "supporter."

Regarding the figures sold so far I did a quick look through and posted on here a few weeks back the difference in sales figures, however I also pointed out that last year we saw big spikes as deadlines approached, this year people have already been told the deadline has been extended so they wont buy at the end of this month as they now know it has been extended till the following month. When you can really do a comparison is once the deadline actually passes.

Ok maybe I should say that those who CAN afford a Season pass and don't should question if they are really a supporter. Adam Pearson is working his pants off for the club, remember he has a pretty low base to start from and I think he has made the right decision with the coaching team.

People that go to games are the best Fans, best supporters and have the most qualified opinion. Generally.
