Yep, we have the full 7, 4 of which are OOC at the end of the season.


It’s only Non-Fed now, so passports/international eligibility no longer come into it, it’s all about where a player was trained as a youngster. French players like Miloudi for example are exempt as France is also part of the same Federation, the RLEF.

Our Non-Fed spots are Paea, Talanoa (OOC), Mini (OOC), Manu (OOC), Tuimavave, Kelly (OOC) and Faraimo.


You could be getting mixed up with the exemptions for any overseas players playing here before 2009 (IIRC), prior to the new rules being brought in. Louis Anderson I think is still exempt, as was Feka when he was playing.

There was also the Kolpak ruling, which allowed Pacific Islanders to come play over here off-quota. Some clubs even used Maltese passports to get players off-quota, as the Kolpak ruling covered EU countries.

Indeed. I enjoyed watching him play for Hull as it was mostly good from him on the field, but he's now part of history at the club. Thanks for the good memories but he's no longer our concern.

An example last week Watts did 17 drives, when he played for Hull against Cas earlier in the season he did 10.

Go forward isn't a big deal and certainly not our biggest issue this year.
