Realistically that would be how many I would change as I think changing more would be worse still. Our two most experienced props were head and shoulders above the other forwards. I thought Galea was the pick of the back rowers and he and Ellis made a couple of half breaks and although far from being top quality that was easily enough to be the top 2 in that area. I'd also bring Arundel back in straight away and give him a run in the team of at least 6 games.

Wouldn't surprise me if something's going on, I couldn't decide if Briscoe was fed-up, lacking confidence, peed-off or inured...but whatever it was it wasn't the Briscoe i've watched for the last 5-6 seasons.

Our attitude has flipped straight back to what it was at the beginning of the season. Very frustrating know what we can do when we have a better attitude.

Pure conjecture, but I'd be amazed if we had a happy camp at the moment. It's bound not to be with the run of results/performances, and if I was one of those who has either been dropped or is not getting a chance, I'd really be wondering why when I'm watching what some are serving up and being kept in.

I'm going to have to disagree with you about Lynch again. I know the amount that is being asked of him is not helping, but IMO he was way below standard again tonight. His ball retention in good positions has let us down badly this season and he spilt it poorly again tonight. The worst thing about it was that he looked at where the tackle was coming from and thrust his ball carrying arm straight at it instead of switching the ball to the other side. I thought Johnson was better than him tonight.

Agree Galea was the pick of the backrowers, so it's a bit of a conundrum. On the evidence of one game he should be left in, but on the evidence of the full season he shouldn't get a look in.

Also agree about Arundel. I thought that Yeaman was even worse tonight than he has been all season. Didn't think Arundel did a lot wrong last week so give him another crack.

For me, Pitts, Bowden, Whiting and Green or Hadley in next week (if Hadley I'd put Tickle to prop), Watts, Lynch, Galea, Westerman out. McDonnell's approaching thin ice, too. Still giving a bit of benefit of the doubt because our ptb speed/predictability is a big factor in why he's getting closed down with the ball so quickly, but he's not been as influential lately.

I didn't hear the attendance announced last night and there's nothing on the club website.

The BBC and Super League websites state a nominal 10,000 whch would be our lowest regular season attendance for seven years.

Pearsons/gentles mega signings,ellis,galea,crookes,arundel,mcdonnell,watts,johnson,lynch,holdsworth really are a success story aren't they.
Crooks,lineham,houghton,o'meley are your best players week in week out,why not chuck a few quid at agar and beg him to come back,gentle seems to be reading his book of excuses nearly every week!
