All buy an infant pass and not use it - means they have to keep the ground empty for passholders (that may turn up) and no cash on the gate. 5000 infant passes bring in seasons income of £12.5k - they would have a sell out each week, but half empty ground and no way of generating additional ticket income.

For the price of a derby ticket, we could buy the passes for our 8 kids - 8000 infant passes means only 1000 full price passes with the remaining tickets being made available to away fans - lots of disappointed Robins and no money in the bank for them.

That is a club in decline alright. Hudgell's looking for ways to get out and this is it, he'll now moan that he's putting money in but the fans aren't and will duck out. Which is a shame because he's doing a sterling job in recruitment and dummy-spitting.

Back to our pass sales. The marketing is superb and I really don't think we can do more, apart from knocking them out really cheap to get the seats filled. All clubs will suffer during the economic downturn - it's how you ride the storm that will decide the surviving clubs. How much does it go up by after the reduced prices? I can't afford one for a while so I'm thinking of picking one up in december time.

East stand reserved goes up from £235 to £300, South Stand unreserved from £205 to £260.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them move the discount deadline back a couple of weeks though, but it isn't guaranteed.

I think we'll hit around 8k but not much more. Interesting to hear what AP had to say about passes being potentially sold over a 12 month perido to ease the burden on fans and including playoff games. This would work well.

Reading betwen the lines (probably incorrectly) thought that might be an indication that the deadline could get extended. DD is closed but many will have been putting aside £50 or so a month to buy at end of October. Hope we get a 2 month extension as that could also help for people buying them as Xmas pressies. Also a few on shifts have mentioned that they need to see fixtures 1st to see if they can fit games round their rota to make it worthwhile getting a pass.

Said it before, but if discount period extended think price should go up by say £10 - £15 so that the early buyers still see a benefit.

FFS, just saying [uIMO [/uif the deadline is extended then price should go up by £x amount. If this theoretical position then came to pass then you will have paid less (by £10-£15) which is fair enough as you bought your pass in the 1st week of sales.

HDM also reckon we sold 9K this year, which is a bit higher than what I previously thought.
