My suggestion to you is look where we have been in the past 20 years, appreciate the fact we have some genuine stars in our black and white shirt, accept the fact that we are improving under Agar ( points don't lie ) and try to look forward to another season of uncontrolled highs and heart sinking lows, because they wll happen.'"
Agree with 90%
But "we are improving under Agar" we couldnt have got worse, than finish 12th the season before.
With the players at his disposal, last season such as Long,Berrigan,O Meley ,Fitzgibbon. if we didnt make the 6 - he should have been sacked.
Our problem is other teams, are improving at a faster rate,than we are. |

So your happy with the squad at the minute? Granted a decent win today and by the sounds of it the young lads did well, but we have let a former test and soo player go and have not replaced him. Agar said we needed half back cover before we let berro go, so whats changed now. I think the fans will be anger because with 3 weeks till the new season we have no real cover at 9 or 7. I would love horne and long to play every game this season, but I cant see it. Can you?

Yeah you're right we will, but I'm happy to stick my neck out and say we will get more points this season than last, because I believe our squad is improving and will compete with the top 4 this year.
So a challange for you, I'll put up £150 and say we get more points than last year, do you fancy it ?
I ran one of the days on the Prekkie marathon last year, so the loser could donate it to the Steve Prescott foundation. I realise money is tight with alot of people at the moment, but if you could afford to lose, do you want to take up my offer ? |

| Don't know if its been mentioned on here but Rugby League had a minutes slot on 'Sky Sports News' last week and it was at the 'meet the players' day and Longy got interviewed and they asked him about maybe playing another year, i turned to the missus and said Hull will offer him another year on top...He said if his bodies up to it he'll play but then said the fans will let him know if he's not up to it....Please dont carry on, go into coaching |

The lad has trained his guts out, lost a bit of flab and looks in great shape mate, if he has a good season and helps bring some sucess i can see many on here being somewhat embarrassed at the shart levelled his way .
In the terms of modern sportsmen he is not old FFS and looks after himself nowadays |
