Judging by Pearson's recent appointments, wouldn't shock me
IF he assigned his role to an existing employee's duties...
Take your pick...

| Quote ="WIZEB"Good lad is the head coach at Sheffield Wednesday.
My mate is Stu and a Withernsea lad to boot. He's done ok with them this season seeing as he hasn't had a penny to spend.
Hope the new owner and guys going in there give him a fair cracki of the whip and next season to push forward .'"
Spot on Wizeb. Stu was a good player and he's doing a decent job at Wednesday as you say. He used to live two doors away from me in Withernsea so knew the family quite well.

Think you've misunderstood what AP is planning. He sees Motu Tony as the guy with the RL knowledge and contacts that you mention. He's only looking for a CEO to take responsibility for the commercial side of the club.

Agreed. As I mentioned in my previous thread his MO has always been to micro-manage, which high calibre big hitters wouldn't accept. The tendancy is therefore to appoint inexperienced people who are happy to have little autonomy and as an added bonus come cheap. That line up of "Directors" is shocking. Not meaning to be hard on them but they don't have the experience at a senior level to warrant being Directors of the club.

Interesting comparison with Wigan. Their listing is massive but on the board it's Lenegan, Radlinski and an FD, plus one non Exec from DW Sports. Who does the sales pitches for sponsorship and manages the finances at FC? Commercial/operations side looks a big gap to me.

Spot on,
Sarah McAllister was an events catering manager for 7 years (AT THE KC) before becoming a 'director' having previously worked in hotels..Barely any outside experience within her field, no suggestion of qualifications on her resume.
James Clark, glorified DJ cum Journalist (ok that's meant as a joke), he holds a degree in media, marketing & journalism and a BA Hons in digital media, a 'director' he is not however, narrow band of experience before joining FC and nothing that suggests he is qualified for the role within the size of organisation that he holds a fair portion of the reigns for.
Richard Munsen, another newbie with little experience and a very narrow employment history, he might have gone to Hull University but it appears he didn't complete a degree course??
That's your directors in a nutshell, on the cheap ever so slightly springs to mind, add in Pearson & it's hardly surprising we are not as hot as we should be in some areas and that's being polite tbh.
Measure twice, cut once as an old tailor told me, under Pearson we hardly get the measuring stick out, make a cut, go by emotion and cut again..and again..

Richard Munson has left the Club and taken up a similar situation under James Rule at Widnes

Asolutely agree.
Judging by his recent statement `we are very stable at the minute both behind the scenes & on the field'
This coming from a guy who preached mediocrity wasn't an option!
Does anyone ever show him the league table.
