Posted on the Rovers board I hope we don't sneak in by virtue of other teams being even worse. Reckon our proud 71-0 play-off defeat record would be at risk.

Well we have Salford this week

Compared to Thorman who is the bitch of every SL player

I think it's an indication of how crap the standard of this league is really. Saints are way ahead of every other team, there's some very average teams in the play off positions atm.

The difference being that nobody has ever described Thorman as being 'the best Scrum Half in SL'.

Can't see us being in it again now tbh

We'll have a good idea on Friday. If we can't muster a win against Salford at home then you're probably right as we won't win another game all season.

I think it shows how much we've slided as a club, considering 8th position is seen as an achievement. Don't get me wrong, I would definetly settle for 8th spot this year, but not long ago it would be seen as pathetic.

a Salford win on friday leaves us 2 points of 2nd bottom

and Salford, Catalan and Bradford have a game in hand now too

I'm starting to think that too. We're now officially closer to bottom than we are top. And in worse form than Celtic Crusaders. 1 win in 5 vs 2 wins in 5 for Celtic. Only Salford are as bad as us at the moment.

Where as for a couple of weeks at least Dobson was. Your point I believe is FC would never get close to that statement.

salford will be targetting this game as a match they can win, how sad and depressing it is that we have fallen so far behind every other club in SL!!

leeds and hull fc, the best two supported clubs in SL this season, gary hetherington goes out and gets a quality coach for his team, kath gives the job to agar! am i reading too much into this??
