Still think it would look more balanced like this:

Fitzgibbon spelling with Dowes/Radford
O'Meley with Moa
Tickle most of the match
Manu rotating with Lauaki
Washbrook/Whiting at loose man

Makes each interchange pretty much like-for-like.

In my post I was just trying to use the names of people most likely to be with us next season, hence no new signings in the post above yours. I'd prefer LMS to be here though, or Hargreaves.


It seems increasingly likely that LMS will be going to Saints. It's been mentioned in several articles.

Would love that to be the case but be highly surprised if he didn't go to a 'big 4' side.

If he has said that I'm not sure he believes it or he would have tried to blood him as a centre by now, it would solve a lot problems as wingers are more readily available then centres especially quality British ones, I know we have had a lot of injuries and had to re shuffle but I'm sure at the age of 20 if Agar saw his future at centre he would have made more of an effort to give him game time there.

Why did he give him the number 3 jersey then? I'm not saying shirt numbers is a definitive guide to where a player will play but it gives a hint.

Think the point is though that Will Sharp is Calders' replacement and Karl Pryce is effectively Hall's replacement. Now I am not saying that Hall doesn't have potential, but it seemed that he was never going to fulfill it at FC and so showing him the door was the right decision. It would seem that Pryce is being brought in as cover, which is the role he has filled at the current league leaders this season and when called upon hasn't really let anyone down and scored a few tries, thus doing his job. I understand people's opinion that he should be so much more than he is given his size but ultimately we are bringing him in to provide cover to our wings and centres and he will do that effectively, as he has for Wigan, and there is always the possibility that he could realise his potential, either way I fail to see the risk with this one.

Possibly because although everyone knew Raynor was on his way out of the club and Briscoe was earmarked to replace him, he was still here when the squad was announced and had the 5 jersey, negotiations over his future were on going and removing a player from the squad list while he was still contracted may have worked against the club, I think the significance of giving TOm the 3 jersey was that it was a first 13 number rather then a specific position.

Has he signed or is Expro allowed his own thread?

I was starting to think the same thing, can one of the mods remove the 'signs' from the thread title or merge this thread with the rumours thread, as this is just another rumour at the moment.

at the last fans forum agar said he saw tom as a future centre due to his strengh ,he said it on radio live m8

IMO tom briscoe would be able to play at centre just as well as he can play on the wing

if calderwood is fit, and sharp shows some form next season then i'd expect to see briscoe in the centres

RE the Karl pryce rumour thread that has now been moved into here!!

Quick update to all FC fans who read this.
With the knowledge of the Mods and a great many on here that the karl pryce thread was in fact a hoax and i shall tell you why ...
There is a great many fans who dislike immensly the way parts of the local media treat our club and as such a few of us on here got together and decided something small had to be done about it and as such what was decided was that i would take it on the chin and hang out a herring and see who bites on it because all the local media state over and over they do not read fans forums however with the helps of many other credible posters the illusion was set and guess what ...
it has apparently been on the radio numerous times today and the local rags are kicking the KC doors in trying to get an exclusive so it just shows that we were correct the local media get a vast majority of their info from trawling this forum and wilf will touch on that further on mondays diary!!
Once again many thanks to all the posters who got involved with their own "insider info" to give it more credibility and apologies to those who were led a 24 hour dance by the little fib we concocted!! apologies to you...

However.... the original thread may well have turned out to have some credence in fact !!
